American history is already pretty awesome, but if only it could be this awesome. "Badass" is the only superlative you need to describe Jason “SharpWriter” Heuser's artwork. Heuser is the digital artist who's achieved a certain level of Internet notority for surreal depictions of larger-than-life American historical figures. Some of his most iconic work includes "Teddy Roosevelt VS. Bigfoot" and "John F. Kennedy Alien Hunter." Just in time for the Fourth of July, Heuser dropped a new print full of stars-and-bars folk art badassary: Ronald Reagan Riding A Velociraptor. When we reached out to inquire about his favorite historical figure, he shot back with this response, "It's hard to pick between the badassery that is Andrew Jackson or Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy rRosevelt gave a speech while being shot in the chest, but Andrew Jackson on more then one occasion killed people with musket balls lodged in him. If they both were to ever meet on the field of battle, the universe would likely implode." Touche.
